Ingredients

For the plain mixture

300 grams flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

125 grams sugar

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

2 eggs

125 grams margarine

For the chocolate mixture

175 grams butter

60 grams dark chocolate melted

200 grams sugar

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

2 tablespoons dark cocoa powder

200 grams ground almonds blanched

200 grams chopped hazelnuts

2 egg yolks

For the chestnut cream

300 grams chestnut purée

200 grams mascarpone

80 grams sugar

2 - 3 tablespoons dark cocoa

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 tablespoons rum

50 milliliters milk

6 leaves/sheets milk jelly

150 milliliters whipped cream

In addition

whole hazelnuts

12 pieces caramel lattice

icing sugar for dusting

Directions
1.
Combine all the ingredients for the plain mixture and roll out on a baking tray lined with baking parchment. Combine the ingredients for the chocolate mixture and knead to a smooth dough, adding a little water if necessary. Roll out to fit the baking tray and place on top of the plain dough, pressing on lightly. Bake in a preheated oven (180°C) for 25-30 minutes. Leave to cool slightly, then cut into 24 rectangles and dust with icing sugar.
